HEAVY RAINFALL LASHES SOUTH COAST, PARTS OF SYDNEY
The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has received 133 calls for help, as heavy rainfall lashed parts of the state. Over the last 24 hours, approximately 100 millimetres of rain was recorded at Point Perpendicular, near Nowra. A severe weather warning remains in place as a low-pressure system impacts the coast between Nowra and Narooma. Significant rainfall also fell in parts of Sydney last night, with some roads being cut due to flash flooding. Minor flooding is likely at Canowindra early Sunday morning.
