More infertile couples will be able to get subsidies for fertility treatments regardless of their income, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said Thursday.The government decided to expand support by removing income criteria currently applied by some local governments. Currently some cities such as Gwangju, Daejeon and Ulsan limit support to those who earn less than the median income.Couples planning for pregnancy will also get up to W100,000 for ovarian reserve tests and up to W50,000 for semen analysis.
