KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 — The government's decision to use the services of satellite internet providers such as Starlink in areas which do not have good internet access is a temporary solution, while the long-term solutions are being implemented. Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the internet service is suitable as a temporary solution because it is plug-and-play, has fast internet speed and the price offered is reasonable. 'In Malaysia, we have four satellite internet service providers including Starlink.
