Picture: Ben Gross DAVID Thomas has recently stepped into the role of captain at the Carwarp Fire Station, helping staff a brigade with a limited number of members. Twelve months ago Mr Thomas was approached by the Carwarp brigade, which was having difficulty attracting new members, to help out. Having spent 10 years at the Red Cliffs station, Mr Thomas made the decision to take on a bigger role at Carwarp.
