Half of Korea's top companies are still undecided about hiring fresh graduates in the second half of the year, and 16.6 percent have no hiring plans at all, a survey suggests. The Federation of Korean Industries polled 127 of Korea's top 500 companies and found that about two-thirds are not going to hire any staff or have made no decision yet for the second half. This figure is up about 10 percentage points from the first half. That suggests that their decision is affected by the recent downgrading of Korea's growth outlook for the year.
