HANOI: The total inflows of direct foreign investment (FDI) into Vietnam this year to May 20, including new and added investment and contributions for share purchases by foreign investors, reached nearly US$10.86bil , the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) under the Planning and Investment Ministry says. The figure was down 7.3% year-on-year (y-o-y), but up 10.6 percentage points compared with the figure in the first four months of this year. More than US$5.26bil was injected into 962 new projects, representing y-o-y increases of 27.
