We will bring you the latest from Wall Street to Washington for all you need to know about interest rates, the debt ceiling negotiations, inflation, and Social Security.  Later this morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the US Import and Export Price Index, which provides critical insights into how goods proceed in the US are competing globally and how much consumers in the US are paying for imported goods .  Yesterday, the Department of Labor reported that the number of initial unemployment claims made last week, 264,000, hit the highest level seen since October 2021 .
