KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — Discussions on the mid-term review of the 12th Malaysia Plan in the Dewan Rakyat continued to be disrupted for the second time this week with MPs from both sides bickering about Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's Yayasan Akalbudi corruption trial discharge. Several backbenchers on the Parliamentary Special Select Committee (PSSC) on Human Rights, Election and Institutional Reform accused fellow member Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim of feigning ignorance about a plan to call both former attorney general (AG) Tan Sri Idrus Harun for an explanation, in a deliberate ploy to create a disturbance.
