The Australian Government asked for input on how to improve alignment and coordination between the MRFF and the MREA. The government provides more than $1.5 billion each year from these funds for health and medical research grants. The national consultation requested input from stakeholders through public written submissions, webinars, and targeted roundtables. We heard from researchers, industry, health providers and services, consumers, First Nations and other priority populations, as well as states and Commonwealth agencies.
