KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that Goldman Sachs Group Inc should do more in their efforts to negotiate a deal with the Malaysian government for its role in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MBD) multi-million dollar scandal. Speaking in an interview with Bloomberg News, Anwar said the investment bank hasn't been forthcoming in their efforts to negotiate a deal. "From my assessment and looking at it objectively, they (Goldman Sachs) should and must do more. "I mean it is quite clear that their (efforts) have not been that forthcoming, although they have been just lately to seek again what they called an amicable resolution," he said.
