On Wednesday, September 21, Tyler Groce emerged victorious as Cap City Comedy Club's Funniest Person in Austin (FPIA). The victory was a shared one. It marked the return of the 30-plus-year annual contest tradition after a two-year hiatus. It marked the return of a sellout crowd eager to see who is among the city's rising stars.
