（ECNS）— The U.S. hosted the second 'Summit for Democracy' basically to draw lines between countries in the world according to U.S. criteria and interfere in their affairs based on U.S. interests, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said on Friday. According to media reports, comments say that the Summit looks more like a show aimed to divide the world. When asked about the above comments，Mao said at a regular news briefing that the summit is designed to patch up small groupings in the name of democracy, tout the false narrative of 'democracy versus autocracy', impose hierarchy on the international community and create division in the world.
