A man and woman aged in their 30s have been charged in relation to two recent substantial aggravated burglaries recently committed at Airbnb properties in the Sheffield area. The stolen property is worth around $100,000 and includes two motorcycles, power tools, electrical items such as washing machines and dryers, furniture and other household items. The man and woman have been jointly charged with: – Aggravated Burglary x 2 – Burglary x 2 – Stealing x 4 – Possess controlled plant or its product x 1 – Possess controlled drug x 1 – Possess thing used to administer controlled drug x 1 On 6 July, members of the Devonport Criminal Investigation Branch and Western Drug Investigation Services searched a premises in Devonport, which led to the recovery of most of the stolen property.
