TRIBUTES have been paid to a Scots mum who died suddenly after her battle with diabetes. Collette Ashman passed away on Monday aged just 36, having suffered from severe pain and stage one diabetes for many years. Collette Ashman passed away after battling stage one diabetes She regularly visited hospital for treatment and had to have a feeding tube throughout her early adult years. Collette, from Balloch, Dunbartonshire, leaves behind her nine-year-old daughter Mirren. Paying tribute to Colette, her heartbroken family said she was a "beautiful lady" and "smart, funny and loving".
