Linda Purl – Performer of the Week Purl's Peyton introduced herself to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) at a hotel restaurant when fate stranded her in Jacksonville, Florida. The two women got off to a cordial start but it wasn't long before Peyton and Carly learned that they had much in common and the warm polite tone between them turned frosty and combative.
