The Senate on Monday unanimously passed on third and final reading a bill that seeks to rename Agham Road in Quezon City to Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago Avenue. House Bill No. 7413 renames the 1.8-kilometer stretch of the road after Santiago who had served three terms as senator, Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary, Bureau of Immigration commissioner and former trial court judge. Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., who authored the bill, said the passage of the measure reflected the 'unanimous admiration of the chamber' for the significant contributions of the feisty senator to society.
