Detectives from Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have arrested 18 people on 64 charges as part of a protracted operation targeting the alleged trafficking of illicit drugs within the district. Operation Victor Cope began in May 2023 and has resulted in the seizure of 1.6 kilograms of Methylamphetamine and $117,180 in cash. $101,750 was seized on one occasion when detectives tracked a woman from Rockhampton to Roma Street Station in Brisbane where she was intercepted by the Railway Squad on July 28.
