At the World Wrestling Council's 49th Anniversary show August 6 in Puerto Rico, Flair was advertised to be in Andrade El Idolo's corner for his match against Carlito. Throughout his legendary career, Flair has worked for the WWC on a few occasions, and he clashed with Carlos Colon. Flair interfered in Andrade's match, prompting Eddie Colon to try and make Flair leave the ringside area.
