TEXARKANA, Ark. -- The Little Rock Patriots came into the 2022 season as the pre-season favorite in Conference 5A-South, as well as the top-ranked team Class 5A team Arkansas. They proved to be as advertised, as they cruised past Arkansas High, 40-7, Friday night at Razorbacks Stadium. Parkview goes to 5-2 overall and stays unbeaten in conference at 4-0 while Arkansas High slips to 2-5, 1-3. The Patriots scored on the game's first play as they returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to take an early 7-0 lead.
