PHOTO: Tayabas City PIO LUCENA CITY — The residents of Tayabas City in Quezon province turned over more than 6,000 kilos of plastic waste to the local government in exchange for rice, the city Public Information Office (PIO) reported on Wednesday (July 5). The city PIO said 6,090 kilos of assorted recyclable plastic waste were collected from residents, schools, and local government offices during the 'Palit Basura Caravan' held on June 30.
