KUALA LUMPUR—President Marcos met with the Filipino community here on Tuesday night soon after arriving for a three-day state visit beginning Wednesday. Speaking before a crowd of about 300 mostly Filipino overseas workers at EQ Hotel, Mr. Marcos said this occasion was his opportunity to thank overseas Filipinos for their support to his tandem with Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2022 elections. He said his travels to countries around the world are mainly aimed at securing investments for the Philippines.
