With the track of a rare potential summer Nor'easter now projected to keep it well off the coast, concerns are growing in much of the region where steady rain has been a rarity this summer, resulting in drought conditions.The storm developing across the mid-Atlantic on Tuesday, Aug. 16 has to potential to bring rainfall in just some parts of eastern New England on Wednesday, Aug. 17, mainly Maine, eastern Massachusetts, and Canada's Atlantic coast, according to AccuWeather.com. Those areas are shown in dark green in the image above.
