MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) has partnered with an online selling platform to track down persons who are illegally selling police uniforms. This comes, following reports of individuals purportedly using the site on the internet in their criminal activities. PNP director Benjamin Acorda Jr. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lazada Group during Monday's flag ceremony at PNP headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. 'At the heart of this agreement is our shared determination to combat the proliferation of unauthorized selling of counterfeit and substandard PNP uniforms, insignias, and accouterments,' Acorda said in his speech.
