Romeo Brawner Jr. announce an agreement to seek additional sites to host American troops and equipment on Thursday. Out of the current nine sites, four were granted by the Marcos administration. Top Philippine and US military officials are considering adding more sites that will expand American military presence in the country amid Washington's efforts to deter China's increasingly aggressive actions in the South China Sea and toward Taiwan.
