Photo from Philhealth Region XI Facebook Page MANILA, Philippines — The National Privacy Commission (NPC) has started its investigation after they found out that some 730 gigabytes (GB) of data were leaked from the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth). The NPC said on Saturday, October 7, that this was a 'staggering' amount of data leaked. The Commission also added that it had launched an investigation seeking those liable for the breach of private information of potentially hundreds of thousands of the state insurer's beneficiaries.
