High Court judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Md Shahid KUALA LUMPUR (June 8): High Court judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Md Shahid will now preside over a legal challenge by kindergarten teacher M Indira Gandhi and 13 others against the validity of state laws concerning unilateral conversion. Ahmad Kamal, who is a judge from the Appellate and Special Powers Division, will be replacing Roz Mawar Rozain from the Civil Division. Lawyer Rajesh Nagarajan, who was representing the plaintiffs, confirmed the matter when contacted.
