The mystery object seen in Melbourne's sky on Tuesday night is 'likely' to have been from a Soyuz-2 rocket which launched in Russia, according to Swinburne University Astrophysicist Sara Webb. 'Unfortunately, until we can confirm exactly where the debris landed and if we can get our hands on it, we can't be for certain but it does seem pretty likely that that's what it was,' she told Sky News Australia.
