SEPANG, Aug 16 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) are expected to meet Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob soon, to appeal for funds to develop the sport further, especially the National squad. MHC President Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal said the confederation was confident that the government would support the national body for hockey, by providing funds to send the team for training abroad. Subahan said with support and funds from the government, the team can improve its proficiency and skills both individually and as a team, to bring honour to the country when competing in international competitions.
