KUCHING: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has called on all Malaysians to cultivate unity and reduce the differences among one another. The King said unity is the nation's main asset, and added that it should be valued by everyone. "We should close the gap between us and lessen the differences between various races and religions," he said when launching the National Unity Week celebration at the Kuching Waterfront here on Sunday (May 21). The Yang di-Pertuan Agong also said unity, like charity, begins at home.
