Posted Yesterday, 09:18 PM 1) if I hotspot my iphone and connect my laptop to the hotspot, can the carrier (whether t-mobile or at&t or whatever) see my laptop's mac address? 2) what if the carrier is an mvno like boost mobile who rents their towers from t-mobile. assuming that boost mobile does not communicate with t-mobile, can t-mobile see my laptop's mac address? 3) if I spoof my mac address in windows using a mac address spoofer program, can they tell the mac address has been overridden? because I read somewhere that while they can't see your real mac address, they can tell it's been faked.
