The presentations of different topics and projects are aimed at interested parties from science as well as from practice. The presentations aim to show the breadth of materials-oriented research and to encourage a regular exchange within materials, process and production engineering. At the end of the year 2022, the lecture in the format "Leibniz-IWT live" will focus on the atom probe tomography (ATP) as one of the equipment highlights at the Leibniz-IWT: This cutting-edge characterization technique provides three-dimensional compositional mapping with sub-nanometer resolution, for samples with typical dimensions up to 100 x 100 x 500 nm3.
