KLIA commotion: 'Leave it to airport authorities to conduct detailed investigation,' says Loke
THE Transport Ministry has entrusted the airport authorities to conduct a detailed investigation into an incident at the international arrival hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 yesterday (June 29). According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook, he has yet to receive any reports regarding the incident, which reportedly involved a government leader. 'I think the airport authorities will conduct a more detailed investigation into what transpired. Of course, safety protocols must be obeyed but whatever it is, we will leave it to the airport authorities as I believe they will make a detailed investigation,' he told reporters at KLIA Terminal 2 after the launch of the MyAirline student discount programme today (June 30).
