Friday, September 10th 2021, 2:02 pmOn Friday students in Jenks placed 2,997 American Flags in front of the high school in honor of every person killed on September 11th, 2001. Students say organizing this ceremony is their way of making sure the tragedy that happened 20 years ago, is never forgotten. Friday we say, "May We Never Forget," but if you were alive on September 11th, 2001, forgetting the horrors and heaviness of that day can feel impossible.Most remember exactly where we were when the first plane hit the World Trade Center 20 years ago.
