LABOR DAY. Progressive groups from different sectors staged a protest at the Freedom Park along Roxas Avenue in City on Labor Day Monday afternoon May 1, 2023. The group urged the administration of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to increase the salaries of workers in the country amidst the rising prices of common commodities. The protesters were also calling for the City government to stop the implementation of the High Priority Bus System. RAMCEZ VILLEGAS 'SWELDO itaas, bilihin ibaba!' Progressive groups cried as they marched along Roxas Avenue on Labor Day.
