The Queensland Police Service had the privilege yesterday of being involved in the Get Ready Queensland Week campaign launch at Suncorp Stadium. It was an exciting opportunity for emergency services to come together to share with the community the importance of being prepared ahead of disasters and emergencies. Acting Assistant Commissioner John Bosnjak who is currently leading the newly formed Emergency Management and Coordination Command said while people prepare ahead of the next storm season, Queensland's emergency services are doing the same.
