A newly completed upgrade to the Emergency Department of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip means residents can now better access effective and efficient care during crises. This upgrade, implemented by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in partnership with the Ministry of Health in Gaza, will support Al-Shifa Emergency Department in capably navigating shocks caused by the conflict. Each round of armed hostilities puts additional stress on essential services, including healthcare.
