A man will appear in court today, one of two further people charged following investigations into a fatal crash at Monterey last month. About 10pm on Friday 25 August 2023, emergency services were called to The Grand Parade, Monterey, after a Subaru Impreza sedan left the road and crashed into a tree. Two passengers – boys, aged 10 and nine – were taken to Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick where they died. A third passenger – a nine-year-old girl – was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital with minor injuries.
