Friends and loved ones remember Oluwatoyin Salau and Victoria Sims one year after their deaths
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - This week marks one year since a pair of brutal murders shocked the Tallahassee community.The bodies of Oluwatoyin Salau and Victoria Sims were found at a home on Monday Road.The man suspected of killing them, Aaron Glee, remains in jail still awaiting trial.Both women spent their lives trying to improve the lives of others.Victoria Sims was a longtime volunteer with AARP.Toyin Salau was a rising activist for the Black Lives Matter movement in Tallahassee.Local activist Trish Brown became friends with Salau during protests last summer.
