MANILA, Philippines—Fran Yu may have boosted his stock before putting his name in this year's Rookie Draft after leading NorthPort to a 101-95 win over Barangay Ginebra in the lone PBA On Tour game held Saturday in Batangas City. Yu scored 21 points spiked by six three-pointers as the Batang Pier were able to get out of the capital city of Batangas province with the victory. NorthPort prevailed for the third straight time after dropping two in a row to open the exhibition series. It was the best game for the former Letran sniper, who was among the handful of players who took advantage of the PBA's decision to allow prospective draftees to be signed by teams in the On Tour.
