MANILA, Philippines — Tropical storm Falcon (international name: Khanun) has decelerated and is expected to remain over the Philippine Sea, far from the country's landmass throughout the forecast period, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Saturday. Falcon was last seen 1,315 kilometers east of Central Luzon. It is still packing maximum winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 80 kph, but Pagasa said its movement has slowed down to 10 kph.
