The Rockliff Liberal Government was pleased last week to announce the World Cup-winning Australian Diamonds would play two matches against South Africa at MyState Bank Arena in October. Since then - tickets have been frantically snapped up by passionate sports fans. As of this morning, nearly 85 per cent of the tickets across the two games have been sold. Minister for Stadia and Events, Nic Street, said Tasmanian fans shouldn't leave it too late to get their tickets. "Since the tickets went on sale on Saturday, they have been flying out the door," he said.
