MANILA, Philippines — The trough or extension of the low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) will bring overcast skies, rain showers and thunderstorms to parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said on Monday. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its Monday morning reported that as of 3:00 a.m., the LPA was spotted some 1,415 kilometers (km) east of Eastern Visayas.
