Feedback on child and young people safety on the Mornington Peninsula closes on Friday 22 September 2023! To further support our consultation, we are running community information sessions throughout October. Endorsed earlier this year, our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy comes after changes to Victoria's Child Safe Standards in July 2022. Included in these changes was the growth to 11 total Standards, such as greater focus on safety for Aboriginal children and young people and managing the risk of child abuse in online environments.
