'The chanting festival is organized every two years by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote the folk music and dances of the region and teach people about the land, people and culture of Vietnam,' said Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Thua Thien-Hue Department of Culture and Sports.
