MANILA, Philippines — Don't get tricked into giving donations solicited online by fake health officials, the Department of Health (DOH) said in a statement issued on Wednesday. The DOH issued the warning after receiving reports that certain individuals had messaged a member of the House of Representatives asking for a donation. 'In line with the foregoing, the DOH would like to notify everyone concerned that neither the undersigned [Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa[ nor the rest of his staff have engaged in any form of solicitation of donations for outreach activities and will not tolerate such alleged illegal actions,' the DOH said.
