MANILA, Philippines — Ange Kouame understands the situation of the Gilas Pilipinas in choosing between Jordan Clarkson and Justin Brownlee for the lone naturalized player spot for the Fiba World Cup 2023. The three-time UAAP champion out of Ateneo, who received his Filipino citizenship two years ago, has yet to play for the national since the fifth window of the Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers last year with coach Chot Reyes deciding to field Brownlee for the final window last February and their recent gold medal run in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.
