A car accident in Ephrata left five seriously injured after vehicle hit a tree
Ephrata police have reported that an accident with an SUV left all five of the vehicle's occupants seriously injured.The crash happened on Sept. 6 near the intersection of Parkview Heights Road and Bethany Road in Ephrata Township. According to police, the SUV was being driven by Matthew Hill, 26, of Ephrata. Hill lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, and the accident left four of the five occupants of the SUV trapped inside.Rescue personnel were able to free all of the passengers, and all five were transported to Penn Medicine - Lancaster General with 'serious injuries' according to the police department.
