CAMARINES NORTE, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Tinaga Island in the town of Vinzons in Camarines Norte on Thursday, March 24, at 11:13 p.m. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the earthquake's epicenter was located 16 kilometers southeast of Tinaga Island (Vinzons) in Camarines Norte. It had a depth of one kilometer and was of tectonic origin. The earthquake was felt at Intensity II in Daet, Camarines Norte. No damages or injuries have been reported so far.
