MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Several family members of a 14-year-old boy who died last year are facing indictments on first-degree felony murder charges. According to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office, a mother, her son and her six daughters are being charged for murder in the perpetration of aggravated child abuse and neglect of 14-year-old Brandon Gray.Investigators say the boy was found unresponsive on the living room floor by Bartlett police and pronounced dead at the scene on January 7, 2020.

(WBTV) - UNC Charlotte is requiring everyone on their campus to wear masks indoors to slow the spread of COVID-19.The university says this decision comes to align with the most recent recommendation from the CDC and in consultation with UNC System and public health officials.Face coverings will be required in all indoor spaces on the campus of UNC Charlotte effective Monday, Aug. 2.School officials say this decision is made in consideration of the rising cases of COVID-19, including the high rate of transmission in Mecklenburg County per the CDC, and for the safety of the campus community.

(CNN) - Kanye West is reportedly opening a prep school in Southern California.The rapper is said to be calling the school The Donda Academy, named after his late mother, Donda West.The school is set to be located at the site of a former private school near Simi Valley.A website for the school says it will offer students a 'world-class education' but does not have information about tuition costs or an opening date.The school also is welcoming young basketball players. West is said to be involved in recruiting.
