COTABATO CITY – Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte visited on Sunday the wake and paid her last respects to a teacher in Pikit town, Cotabato province who was gunned down while heading home from school on May 26. Duterte, on board a chopper on her way to Davao City from here where she opened a satellite office of the Office of the Vice President, took a brief stopover in Pikit to visit the wake of teacher Joel Reformado. Reformado, 36, a teacher of Damalasak Elementary School, was on board a motorbike with fellow teacher Elton John Lapined, 37, when they were ambushed by still unidentified gunmen in front of Manaulanan Elementary School.
